APPOINTMENTS, ATTENDANCE & REVIEWS

Making Your Appointment

  • Please use the online booking service for appointments.
  • For Hypnotherapy appointments, you are only able to book your consultation online. Future sessions will be booked at time of consultation.  All Hypnotherapy sessions are provided online unless there are special circumstances. 
  • It is recommended to make appointments in advance to ensure your required times and dates.
  • All clients are required to complete a digital consultation form and if you are a new client this will be forwarded via email prior to your appointment. These are kept in accordance with GDPR regulations (please see privacy policy) below.
  • Please ensure you follow your aftercare advice. If you need a reminder here’s the Pause pre/post treatment guide.
  • Existing clients should ensure that they update any changes to their personal details and health status.
  • Mobile Phones – For your comfort and relaxation please switch your mobile phone and other devices to silent.
  • If, as a new client, you have not completed your Consultation Form prior to attendance, please note that the consultation will take place during your allocated treatment time.
  • Valuables should not be brought to the salon. No responsibility or liability will be held for any loss of valuables, phones, devices or other items.
  • Advertised prices may be subject to change without notice.
  • Pause reserves the right to remove treatments and packages from the treatment menu without notice.
  • Parking is available on the driveway. If the gate is not open, please ring the doorbell on the gate and I will come and let you in. We have 2 small dogs who get excited and can be a bit too friendly for some people and for safety purposes we need to ensure they are not out.
  • Who I provide services for
    Holistic services (Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology etc) are provided to female clients. I only provide these services to male clients who are known to me or recommended by an existing client.
    Hypnotherapy is open to all and is provided online via video call and may be available at times outside of my physical clinic hours by arrangement.

Payment Information

  • Payments
    Payment for services at Pause - Mind & Body Reset can be made by cash or card when in person at the time of your service. If you wish to benefit from a broader range of payment options such as PayPal, Klarna or other buy now/delay payment options you will need to pay at the point of online booking as these services are not available in person. 
  • Refunds
    Refunds are only available prior to a physical service taking place. For example if you have pre-paid and cancel more than 24 hours ahead of time in line with the Pause Cancellation Policy
    Hypnotherapy services are paid for on a time basis as results are not guaranteed and consequently refunds are not available after the service has been provided. 

Health Conditions & Pregnancy

  • Allergies/Skin Conditions. If you have serious health or allergy conditions that could contra-indicate you from treatments, please notify at the point of booking so your appointment can be adapted if necessary and so proceed on the day.
  • Medicated Health Conditions may prevent you from have certain treatments. If you have any medically supervised or medicated condition please inform us at the point of booking.
  • Pregnancy – If you are pregnant, recently post-partum from any stage of pregnancy please advise on your consultation form what your current position is.
  • If breastfeeding, some treatments may be restricted. Please advise us at the point of booking.

Lateness, Cancellation & Non-Attendance

  • Please arrive on time and not too early as I can't accommodate you before your booked time.  Arriving at your appointment time is important, as if you are too early I may be with another client and there is nowhere to wait. Often I only have space for 1 vehicle on my driveway and my family come and go at various points of the day so need access. 
    I allow a buffer between treatments to allow for departures and arrivals so please make sure you do not arrive more than a few minutes before your appointment time.
  • Please notify me immediately if you know you are running late. It may be necessary to reschedule or dependent on availability you may need to have a reduction in your treatment time. If your treatment time is reduced, you will still be charged for the original treatment or you can reschedule. If you fail to notify me the booked appointment will need to be paid for prior to any further appointments being booked.
  • Cancellation (24hrs +) - If you need to cancel, please call 07799888570 or email hello@pausereset.co.uk and give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
  • Late Cancellation (- 24hrs) Cancellations at less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% charge.
  • Non-Attendance - If you do not arrive for your appointment and provide no notice then a 100% Non-Attendance Fee will be applied to your account.
  • Occasionally it may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to circumstances beyond my control. Pause reserves the right to transfer your appointment to a different day/time and, in the unlikely event that this is not possible, we may need to cancel your booking.

Reviews

Providing you with a great service and hearing about how much you loved a treatment when you come back in for your next one is really important. You can leave a review on Google, Facebook or you can drop me a message to say how your treatments have benefitted you. It helps spread the love and brings a smile to your therapist’s face to get positive comments.

I always aim high in what I do, and I hope that you have enjoyed and appreciated your treatment. If, however, you have any reason to feel less than satisfied, please get in touch by emailing me within 24 hours of your appointment so we can resolve any queries you may have.

CHILDREN & YOUNG PERSON POLICY

Treatments for Young Persons

I have a basic DBS certificate, but do not have the advanced child level certificate. Consequently, I am unable to provide services to under 18's without a parent or guardian present at the time of booking and any massage/holistic treatment.

I do not provide hypnotherapy services for under 18's.

Babies & Children

No children are allowed to attend any treatment with their parents/guardians. Should you have difficulty with childcare please reschedule.
