At Pause, appointments are not rushed and products are not removed aggressively to save time. Each service is carried out with attention to the natural nail, cuticle area and the condition of the hands.
I use professional systems from established nail brands with a history of quality products, standards and professional education. Artistic Colour Gloss has been part of the professional gel-polish industry since the early days of the system, while OPI remains one of the most widely recognised professional nail brands.

Artistic Colour Gloss is a professional gel-polish system designed to provide durable colour and shine while remaining suitable for natural nail services.
Gel appointments include careful preparation and removal of existing Artistic Colour Gloss applied at Pause when followed immediately by reapplication. Suitable for wear up to 3 weeks.
Gel Polish
A gel polish service including nail shaping, cuticle preparation and Artistic Colour Gloss application.
Where existing Artistic Colour Gloss has been applied at Pause, removal is included when fresh gel is reapplied during the same appointment.
Ideal for:
Regular nail maintenance or colour refresh with up to 3 weeks wear.
OPI Manicure with Gel Polish
A full manicure combining nail and cuticle care, hand exfoliation and massage with an Artistic Colour Gloss gel-polish finish.
Removal of existing Pause-applied gel is included when followed immediately by reapplication.

Professional gel polish removal
Gel Polish Removal & Nail Reconditioning
Correct and professional removal is an important part of protecting the natural nail. Pause-applied Artistic Colour Gloss is removed carefully without aggressive techniques or unnecessary damage to the nail surface.
If you are not having gel reapplied, the removal service includes nail shaping, a light cuticle tidy and a conditioning finish so the natural nails are left neat and cared for.

Product applied elsewhere
Removal of product applied by another salon is only available by prior agreement.
Please confirm exactly which product is currently on your nails before booking. Products described as gel polish may sometimes be builder gel, hard gel or another enhancement system requiring significantly more time to remove.
Builder gel and other file-off products are removed by hand at Pause. Builder gel removal starts from £30 and may cost more depending on the thickness, condition and time required. Acrylic extensions and unknown enhancement products may be declined.
Please do not book a standard gel removal appointment for builder gel or nail extensions.

IBX Nail Treatment (Standalone)
Book as a standalone natural nail service. including nail shaping, cuticle tidy, IBX application and Saviour conditioning finish.
IBX is a professional natural nail treatment used to support weak, peeling or damaged nails from within the nail plate.
Unlike a surface coating, IBX is designed to penetrate the upper layers of the natural nail and can be used beneath gel polish or as a standalone strengthening treatment.
It may be suitable for nails affected by repeated product wear, splitting, peeling or general weakness. Can help recover vertical splits that are common for menopausal women.
